About the Mac Pro A1991 / A2786

The Mac Pro A1991 / A2786 was sold in 2019 / 2023, in Tower versions, and uses Intel Xeon W / Apple M2 Ultra processors. It belongs to the Mac mini, Mac Studio & Mac Pro range, and we keep or source parts for every common repair.

Storage is soldered to the logic board and encrypted by the Apple silicon chip, so data can only be recovered by getting the original board working – which is exactly the board-level work we do.
