About the Legion Y520 / Y720

The Lenovo Legion Y520 / Y720 was sold in 2017, with a 15.6" display, and uses Intel Core 7th gen + NVIDIA GTX processors. It belongs to the Legion & LOQ Gaming range, and we keep or source parts for every common repair.

Its processor is not on Microsoft’s Windows 11 supported list, and Windows 10 support ended in October 2025. We can advise on keeping it secure, alternatives such as ChromeOS Flex or Linux, or whether replacement makes more sense.

Common Legion Y520 / Y720 faults
