About the EliteBook 800 Series
The EliteBook 840 is the HP equivalent of the Latitude 5000: the default business laptop in thousands of UK offices. Each generation is marked with a G number, from G3 in 2016 to G11 in 2024, after which HP moved to the EliteBook 6 and 8 names. Hinge mounts, batteries and USB-C charging are our most common jobs.
