About the Precision 5520

The Dell Precision 5520 was sold in 2017, with a 15.6" display, and uses Intel Core 7th gen / Xeon processors. It belongs to the Precision 5000 range, and we keep or source parts for every common repair.

Its processor is not on Microsoft’s Windows 11 supported list, and Windows 10 support ended in October 2025. We can advise on keeping it secure, alternatives such as ChromeOS Flex or Linux, or whether replacement makes more sense.

Common Precision 5520 faults
