About the Aspire
Aspire laptops are Acer’s everyday models and among the most common in UK homes. Older Aspire E and Aspire 3 machines often have hard drives, and Aspire 5 hinges are known to loosen – both very fixable.

My Aspire 5 hinge is loose. Will it get worse?
Usually, because the mounts crack further. It is cheaper to fix early.
How quickly can you fix it?
Many repairs are finished the same or next working day; jobs needing parts take a few days.
